Turtle Crawl June 9 2021

After last evenings storms we decided to move forward with our scheduled turtle crawl. Apparently the threat of rain kept many people from participating. The afternoon weather however seem to allow the wood turtles along the trail to cooperate. We saw three wood turtles during our walk. A Big Thank You goes to Todd Deluccia, District Mgr. for Cameron County Conservation District for doing his turtle presentation and sharing his knowledge along with his own turtle pets. Thank You CC Recreation Center, CC Family Center and CC Conservation District for helping coordinate the program with CCOYA.
