CCOYA Youth Volunteer Receives NWTF Long Beards Chapter Scholarship

CCOYA would like to congratulate Sarah Abriatis for being awarded our Cameron County Long Beards Chapter of NWTF $250.00 scholarship. Those FB friends that don’t know this amazing young lady, she is a 2021 graduate of Cameron County High School. She played a huge role in the last few years in the successes we had with the CCHS Envirothon Teams. She loves the outdoors, hiking, kayaking and hunting. She is also an Alumni of Wildlife Leadership Academy’s Bass School. She loves animals and enjoys learning more about them. She is very active in St. Marks Church in Emporium as an Alter Server and Lector. She is always willing to lend a hand if she is not busy with other activities. Sarah has helped as a volunteer for CCOYA on several occasions and participated in our mentored youth doe hunt a few years back. Sarah will be attending Washington and Jefferson College this fall studying Environmental Science. Good luck Sarah….can’t wait to see what life holds for you!
