Cameron County Outdoor Youth Activities recently delivered 500 pheasant eggs to Cameron County School District. Eleven classrooms at the elementary school and one in the high school are incubating the eggs, which were delivered to the other classrooms by teacher Ben Porkolab’s third-graders. Seneca Resources and Tractor Supply of St. Marys provided financial support. Penn State Extension 4-H is also involved. The young pheasants will be released into the wild this fall.
