Cameron County Recreation Center, Cameron County Family Center, Cameron County Conservation District and Cameron County Outdoor Youth Activities recently sponsored a fun filled day at Sinnemahoning State Park for 17 young students. The theme for the day was Creek Camp and as always the Sinnemahoning State Park Staff made it a memorable experience. Unfortunately Mother Nature did not allow students to experience kayaking or getting in the stream to catch crayfish as planned. However moving to the Education Center the students enjoyed, scavenger hunts, Observing macro invertebrates under a microscope and participated in fun educational games all pertaining a watershed and an aquatic theme. We would like to thank our sponsors and Sinnemahoning State Park for a wonderful experience. Also, a big thank you to Student Transportation Authority for safely transporting students and Fuel On for their generous cookie donation.
