Annual Youth Fishing event

April 2nd was CCOYA’s annual youth fishing event at the Andrews’ farm. Over 160 registered youth attended and joined in for all the fun festivities. A big thank you to Smoky the Bear for making an appearance and interacting with all the kid. Thank you to the Pennsylvania State Police for making it a point to stop by and join in on the festivities with the kids (the police car is always a big hit). I want to thank the volunteers that did an amazing job cooking, working the air rifle and archery booth, helping with registration, and much more. Thank you to Ireland’s Bait Shop for donating meal worms and also Thank you to Smokers Logging Inc. for donating bait and their time to help with everything. Again, a Big thanks to all that came out and participated in the event and also to our volunteers, the events could not be possible if it wasn’t for our dedicated volunteers.
